The Parent/Teacher Group is involved in making Wilson Elementary an outstanding learning institution. The function of the PTG group at Wilson is to raise money to support the students and staff. We begin the year by holding an event to welcome the Wilson Community back to school in September. The last five years the event was Pizza in the Park held at Comstock Park. Other events throughout the year include: The Monster Mash Dance in October, Book Bingo, and the Annual Wilson Spring Carnival.

The major fundraising for the 1998-1999 school year went towards the purchase of new playground equipment. Other purchases have included computers, library books, and other essential materials for learning. In 2000-2001, we have focused our energies and money on providing Accelerated Reader and books to improve reading.  The 2005 school auction provided books for the classrooms and the library and the 2006 auction provided the needed books and equipment for Science.
