Message to the Community
These are exciting and challenging times. This is especially true at Ridgeview where the staff, students, parents, and community members work together to improve student learning and address school issues in a democratic fashion. At the core of this democratic process is a ten member site council that serves as a decision making and advisory body. This group represents the interests of students, teachers, school employees, parents, administrators and the community. The site council has identified the following goals:
- Improve communication and involve all members of the learning community
- Integrate the district strategic plan with the school goals
- Ensure ongoing assessment
- Make decisions that improve student learning
Your active participation is an essential element in providing a program that is responsive to the needs of our students and community. We encourage parents to attend Parent - Teacher Organization (PTO) meetings and join the ranks of our active volunteer program. Members of the community at large are invited and encouraged to join us too! Your involvement and input are key to the success of our school program.
Ridgeview Mission
The mission of our school community is to provide all students with a purposeful and meaningful education that will prepare them to become productive citizens and life-long learners. The staff members, in collaboration with parents, consider it their mission to set high standards that will ensure every child is given the opportunity and training to meet or exceed the expectations developed by our school, school district and state.
