Welcome!!!
This has been a busy week learning class procedures and building our classroom community. We start the day with a Morning Meeting and a Share Time to help students get to know each other. The goal is to create a safe and respectful room where each child can share their thoughts. Already students are feeling brave enough to share in front of their classmates. This is a big step! Ask you child to tell you what a good listener does.

Parent / Teacher Communication
In next week’s homework folder you will find a Daily Behavior Comment Sheet. I think it is important to see how your child’s day has been. Included on the sheet is a place for your comments and/or questions for me. You should expect that I will send a comment home every night! I will expect a parent signature and the folder to come back each day! I will also include upcoming events on this sheet to keep you informed.

Homework Folders
On Monday, your child will be bringing home a homework folder. One side will be —Take Home and Leave Home and the other side —Take Home and Bring Back. At the end of each day when we get our mail we will take the time to figure out what side our mail should go on.
Homework starts next week, see the schedule on the left.

P.E. teachers are recommending tennis shoes worn on Tuesdays and Thursdays for safety!
