Principals Advisory Committee (PAC)

The Moran Prairie Elementary School PAC (formerly Site Council) is an advisory body to the principal. The PAC enlists the support of and is accessible to staff, students, parents, and the community. They work together to design and put in place programs and processes that support Moran Prairie Elementary School.

The PAC meets once a month during the school year, usually the first Wednesday of the month at 4:00 PM. Dates are listed in the parent handbook/calendar. Note time change from what is published there. All meetings are open to the public.

Specific purposes of the PAC include but are not be limited to:

  1. Promoting the highest possible student performance.
  2. Serving as a forum for input from teachers, support staff, building administrators, parents, students, and community members.
  3. Focusing on issues related to the entire educational process at Moran Prairie.
  4. Providing an organizational framework so restructuring can occur. (Restructuring can be described as continuous change for the sake of bettering the school and not for change sake.)
  5. Communicating discussions and decisions to all appropriate staff, students, parents, and community members.
