Linwood Elementary School is dedicated to providing quality and equitable learning opportunities in a safe and nurturing environment. Opportunities include developing respect for oneself and others, a life-long love of learning, personal responsibility, and the pursuit of academic excellenlce.

As a Professional Learning Community, Linwood School is committed to providing current research-based instruction in order to best meet the academic needs of each student. Our goal is to empower students with skills to be responsible, respectful citizens in a diverse and ever-changing society.

Linwood School Rules
- Linwood students will arrive no earlier than 8:45 a.m. unless they are having breakfast at school, and then no earlier than 8:30 a.m.
- Linwood students will be respectful to all staff members, students, and visitors at all times.
- Linwood students will demonstrate appropriate behavior at all times during school hours.
- Linwood students will use appropriate language.
- Linwood students will respect the rights and property of others.
- Linwood students will play appropriate games on the playground.
- Linwood students will leave gum at home. No food, gum, or drink is allowed on the playground during recess time.
- Linwood students will not throw objects in school or on the playground; i.e. rocks, snowballs, or pinecones.
- Linwood students will leave toys at home, unless needed for a classroom project.
- Linwood students will remain on school grounds during school hours unless a written excuse is sent to school by parents and approved in the office.
- Linwood students will not enter stores or other business establishments on the way to or from school without written parental permission.
