OUR LAST CULMINATING PROJECT THIS YEAR IS DOING A PAPER ON THE HISTORY OF SPOKANE. ALL THE INFORMATION IS BEING SENT HOME APRIL 10. STUDENTS ARE TO CHOOSE A TOPIC THAT INTEREST THEM. THE PROJECTS WILL BE SHARED AND BE ON DISPLAYED THE EVENING OF OUR MUSIC PROGRAM WHICH IS ALSO FOCUSED ON SPOKANE HISTORY AND THE LILAC FESTIVAL.
Lilac Parade Floats:
Spokane's most traditional celebration is the Lilac Parade.The students have the opportunity to built a float the size of a shoebox. The theme of the float may be tied to their paper,but does not have to be on some topic. The flOATS ARE CRAFTED AT HOME AND BROUHGT TO SCHOO ON MONDAY, MAY 12. Weprovide some materials such as colored construction paper, tissue paper or glue etc.
Lilac Royalty will visit us on Tuesday, May 13 and we host our guest for lunch.
Our Music Progam "Spokane's All Right" is Wednesday, May 14 at 7:00pm.
PURPLE DAY IS FRIDAY MAY 16 students are encouraged to wear something purple.
