In reading we choose our own books on Monday.

2 Just right
1 Interesting or challenging
In reading we are focusing on inference, determining importance,finding main idea and the theme of the fiction and nonfiction books and articles. We are also working on the author's purpose for writing the story.
We are still learning to write answers in a complete sentences.
Students will be in a book study all using the same book, reading together,discussing the story, vocabulary words, answering questions, make predictions, reflections, and the theme of the book.
March is the last month for the Pizza Hut Coupon. The students that have done the reading every month since October will have a Pizza Party sometime after Spring Break.
Students should be reading nightly as part of their homework assignment.
