Mission Statement

Grant School is a community of students, parents, educators, businesses, and citizens in collaboration who are committed to ensuring a safe, nurturing environment with high expectations for lifelong learning.

We believe in the dignity and worth of every individual. All students should have the opportunity to learn through the use of various strategies and techniques that meet their individual needs. Their education should include academic, life, and social skills.

We will strive to empower our students to:

Principal’s Honor Roll

During the second semester of the 1998-1999 school year a Principal’s Honor Roll was implemented in order to recognize students who have achieved outstanding academic performance.

The following criteria must be met on a trimester basis in order for a student to be placed on the Principal’s Honor Roll:

  • Meets the academic portion of Study Skills criteria (above)
  • Maintains 3.5 or above grade average, assessed at grade level
    objectives.
