Weekly Homework
Homework is the same format every week and due by Friday OR Monday the following week at the latest. It is as follows:
*Spelling--write the words 5 times each on the back of the paper, fill in the sentences and for extra-credit, look up the 2 challenge words and write the definition next to the words!
*Math--Usually a math worksheet and activity of what math strand we are working on at school. Please try to do the activity with your child for deeper understanding.
*Reading--Have your child read 15 minutes each night, or mix it up, have them read 5 minutes you read 10 minutes. The important thing is that they read nightly, the minimum 4 nights a week. We have an incentive reading program called BOOK-IT with Pizza Hut. Look for the reading sheets that go home each month.
