Anti-bullying and Harassment   (back to home)
In keeping with Spokane Public Schools' commitment to making sure all children feel safe and able to learn at school, Franklin is working hard to teach students how to solve problems without bullying.
This September, the school held an all-school assembly where we talked about problem-solving, anti-bullying laws and how each person can contribute to making the world a better place. We watched an inspirational multi-media presentation called "Shout!" that encouraged students to treat themselves and others with respect.
As counselor, I spend time in each classroom, working with students on these issues and many more. I also work with children individually when their behavior indicates they have a habitual problem with bullying. Want to know more? Call me at 354-2639.
