I am a graduate of the Medical Lake School District. I then went on to earn my degree and teaching credentials from Gonzaga University. I have been teaching for about 5 years. I spent a few years as a substitute in the elementaries while starting my family and then spent 2 1/2 years teaching mathematics at Glover Middle School. 2006-2007 was my first year teaching 4th grade full-time and I fell in love with the community at Adams and my students! Prior to earning my certification I was a group life counselor at one of Spokane's juvenile treatment centers. I am a proud mom of two little girls, Meghan (9) and Logan (6). They keep me on my toes when I am not dancing in the classroom!
My teaching belief is that every child is a learner...getting them to see that is the art of teaching! I facilitate a classroom centered around student goals and needs. My job is to help them navigate through the learning of new concepts, jumping hurdles and eliminating road blocks! Hopefully, we have a little fun on the journey!

My girls, Logan and Meghan at a Spokane Indians game! (summer '07) ...good times...the team won!!!
